Yoga has been proven as a positive treatment in many ways: reduce blood pressure; cope with stress and anxiety; alleviate chronic pain (lower back, shoulder and knees); and encourage rehabilitation from injuries such as muscle strains to ACL tears.  Yoga is also a powerful addition to any regular fitness program and is used by many different pro level athletes and teams to increase flexibility, range of motion, and maintain their overall fitness and recovery.

Yoga can be practiced by anyone and everyone, and it is the goal of YogaMED to provide customized programs that suit the individual needs of all our patients.

Sal Sayeed has completed a 200 hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) and a 40 hour Jock Yoga Extension Certification.   His training was completed in Tofino, BC with renowned Yogi, Eoin Finn, who is the founder of the Blissology Movement.  Furthermore, his Jock Yoga Certification was completed in Downtown Toronto at Equinox Gyms with local Toronto Yogi, Michael DeCorte, founder of Jock Yoga.  Sal truly believes that the best time to get active is now, and thus, has made it his personal mission to share Yoga with as many people as possible!
